Ingredients

  • 2 cups Xylitol

  • 10 cups cold Water, divided

  • 1 Lemon, sliced

  • 4 sprigs Mint

  • 6 Black Tea bags

  • Juice of 4 Lemons

  • Ice for serving

  • Lemon slices for garnish (Optional)

  • Mint leaves for garnish (Optional)

Instructions

Place xylitol and 3 cups of cold water in a medium pan, mixing well. Bring to a boil over medium-low heat, stirring frequently until xylitol dissolves. Remove from heat. Add the lemon slices and mint, stirring well. Let cool before straining.

In a medium heat-safe bowl, add tea bags. Pour boiling water over the tea bags and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool.

In a large bowl, add lemon juice and 3 cups of water, mixing well.

Add syrup and tea to the lemon mixture, mixing well. Cover and chill for 4 hours.

Place ice in serving glasses. Add lemonade sweet tea and garnish with lemon slices and mint.
