Dill Dip ingredients

We are looking for a delicious way to enjoy your veggies. Dip them in this Dill Dip! It has an explosion of flavor, from the sweet and tangy notes of the lemon juice and fresh dill, the heat of the fresh ginger, and the allium bite of the fresh garlic. Besides being great with fresh veggies, this Dill Dip also goes excellent with chips, including our Air Fryer Sweet Potato Chips. 

What is dill dip made of?

This dip dill has a base of non-fat Greek yogurt and mayonnaise to add creaminess. Then, we added layers of flavor with fresh garlic, dill, ginger, lemon juice, onion powder, and salt.

What does dill dip taste like?

This dill dip has a combination of flavors to delight your taste buds. The fresh ginger adds heat, while the lemon juice and fresh dill add sweet and tangy citrus notes. Meanwhile, the fresh garlic adds a bitter allium bite.

Does dill have health benefits?

It sure does! Fresh dill provides immune-boosting vitamins A and C. It also contains manganese which is vital for strong bones. And it contains antioxidants that may protect against certain chronic diseases.

Is dried dill as good as fresh?

No, it's not. The flavor profile of fresh dill is much better than dried dill.

Ingredients

Dill Dip Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Non-Fat Greek Yogurt

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise

  • 1 Garlic clove, pressed

  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill (plus extra for garnish)

  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, peeled, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt

Add all the ingredients to a medium bowl, setting aside some fresh dill for garnishing. Whisk until smooth.

Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge. Let chill for 30 minutes.

Place in the refrigerator and wrap with plastic. For 30 minutes, allow to chill.

Garnish with fresh dill before serving.

Just before serving, add some fresh dill.
