Delicious sliced Coconut Bread

Coconuts are abundant in the Caribbean and many tropical countries worldwide. We use them in many of our sweet and savory dishes. But, coconuts are not only loved for their Juice. The coconut meat also goes well with different dishes, from your favorite cookies to your favorite cakes. So we have prepared for you the perfect mix of both. Ingredients

  • 360 grams All-purpose Flour

  • 10 grams Baking Powder

  • 2 grams Baking Soda

  • 6 grams Salt

  • 350 grams Granulated Sugar

  • 225 grams Vegetable Oil

  • 3 Large Eggs

  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

  • 2 teaspoons Coconut Extract

  • 2 teaspoons Almond Essence

  • 21 grams Honey

  • 225 grams Buttermilk

  • 90 grams Shredded Coconut

  • 15 grams Coconut Flakes

Instructions

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and whisk to combine in a medium bowl.

Combine the sugar, oil, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and coconut extract in a separate bowl. Add honey and whisk until combined.

Add the sugar mixture and buttermilk to the flour mixture and mix until thoroughly moist. Then, add the shredded coconut.

Prepare two 8" x 4" Loaf Pans, spray with a non-stick spray & pour the batter equally into the pans, and spread evenly throughout the pan.

Bake at 325 °F on the middle shelf for 45 minutes to 60 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool down on a cooling rack. Once cool, serve and enjoy!
