Beach vacations are a time to relax, unwind, get a tan, swim with the fishes, and cool down with a refreshing poolside Strawberry Daiquiri. No need to wait for your next tropical vacation to have a Daiquiri. Blend up this skinny Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri anytime in the comfort of your home, porch, or the following summer backyard BBQ.

Fresh or frozen juicy strawberries, ice, granulated sugar alternative, freshly squeezed lime juice, and strawberry-flavored sparkling water are blended, added to individual glasses, or fill a pitcher to pour and share.

These ruby red little berries pack large amounts of vitamins and nutrients. They're also virtually fat-free, high in water content, and contain 2 grams of fiber in only three berries. Although usually lovely and sweet, their sugars don't spike blood glucose and are great for people with diabetes and those on a low-carb diet.

If you're a fan of this virgin cocktail, try out some others, you might find your new favorite beverage! There's Strawberry Lemonade, Caribbean Fruit Punch, or learn how to make an authentic Trinidad Mauby

What is strawberry daiquiri made of?

A strawberry daiquiri is made of strawberries, lime juice, sugar, ice, and soda water.

What alcohol is in a daiquiri?

The addition of rum is added to the alcoholic version of this drink. Light rum instead of spiced or dark rum is preferred. White rum has a light and clean flavor, allowing the strawberries to shine and not be overpowered by the taste of the rum.

What's the difference between a margarita and a daiquiri?

Daiquiri's contain rum, whereas the classic margarita is spiked with tequila. Both have lime juice, sugar, and ice in common. However, a margarita can be shaken or blended with a salt-coated rimmed glass. Likewise, daiquiris are blended and can have a sugar-rimmed drink.

What do you mix strawberry daiquiri with?

Strawberry daiquiri is mixed with rum or can be substituted with vodka.
