Instructions

Plain Oatmeal Porridge

Microwave Instructions: In a large bowl, place all ingredients (Oats, Milk, Water, and Salt) and stir together. Cook in the Microwave for 2 minutes until the oats are fully cooked or puffed and softened. Stir before adding toppings.

Stovetop Instructions: In a large saucepan or pot, combine water, milk, and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and add the oats while stirring occasionally. Cook for 5 minutes or until the oats are soft, and the liquid has been absorbed. Remove from the heat and let it stand for 2-3 minutes, covered.

Breakfast Oatmeal

In a stockpot, add water and bring to a gentle simmer, just below boiling. Using a slotted spoon or a ladle, gently lower the eggs into the water and let it simmer for 7 minutes to achieve that soft yolk.

Remove the eggs and immediately chill in bowl of ice water for one to two minutes until the eggs are cool enough to handle. Once cool, remove the shells and slice them in half, then set aside for assembly.

Wash the cherry tomatoes and celery. Then slice the tomatoes and celery and set them aside.

Assembly

Once Oatmeal is done, add or stir in the toppings for your desired flavor and let rest for a few minutes to let it cool. You can add milk if you want to make a creamier taste. Serve warm and enjoy
