Looking to ditch commercial popsicles, and start making your own popsicles? This recipe for homemade Strawberry Popsicles will help you do just that. 

The recipe is not only easy but healthy, too. That's because we're not adding sugar to the popsicles. We let the natural sweetness of the fresh strawberries shine and added plain Greek yogurt for creaminess. So, these popsicles are keto-friendly, too. These popsicles make for a yummy and delicious snack or dessert for those hot summer months.

Our strawberry pops have two simple ingredients: plain Greek yogurt and fresh strawberries.

To make popsicles creamy, not icy, instead of just adding fruit, also add Greek yogurt. You can also add some cornstarch to make popsicles creamy.

How much sugar is in strawberry pops?

There are 12 grams of sugar in our strawberry pops, and all of it is naturally occurring sugar (from the strawberries and Greek yogurt).

Is sugar on strawberry healthy?

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces plain Greek yogurt

  • 2 pounds fresh Strawberries, washed and hulled

Instructions

Cut 8 fresh strawberries into thin slices, and set them aside. They will be used to decorate the popsicle molds.

Prepare slices of strawberries

Cut the remaining strawberries into quarters.

Prepare quartered strawberries

Place the Greek yogurt and quartered strawberries in a blender and blend until well combined, about 10 seconds, scraping the sides of the blender as needed.

Prepare to blend yogurt and quartered strawberries

Put the sliced strawberries from Step 1 into the popsicle molds, sticking them to the edges as much as possible. This will give your popsicles a fun, fruity look to your popsicles by doing this.

Prepare popsicle molds with the sliced strawberries

Distribute the yogurt mixture evenly among the popsicle molds. Insert the popsicle sticks.

Pour the blended strawberries in the popsicles molder

Freeze for 4 hours until fully frozen.
