On the Keto diet and craving bagels? This Keto Everything Bagel is all that is scrumptious about bagels, crispy, savory crust with a chewy inside—made with King Arthur Keto Wheat Flour and only six simple ingredients consisting of yeast, water, salt, sweetener, and of course, everything bagel seasoning. It will take you very little time to make & bake. Traditionally bagels are boiled in water & baking soda. This recipe is baked directly using a nonstick bagel pan for perfect bagels each time. Then, double the batch & freeze them for up to 3 months in a sealed freezer bag.  

Lather each bagel with cream cheese, turn it into a sandwich, or spread it with salted butter. The options are endless. You're laughing to the toaster with only four net carbs per bagel.

  • 2 1/2 cups King Arthur Keto Wheat Flour

  • 1 cup Warm Water, 110 °F

  • 3/4 teaspoon Instant Yeast

  • 1 teaspoon Sweetener 

  • 3 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning 

  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt


Using a small bowl, add yeast, sweetener & warm water, stir with a fork or small whisk & allow to bloom & bubble for 5 minutes.

* Note: if the mixture is not bubbling, the yeast may not be fresh or outdated. Be sure there are bubbles for the bagels to rise & bake properly. 

Using a stand-up mixer with the dough hook attachment, add the Keto flour, salt & 1 tablespoon of everything bagel seasoning into the mixer bowl. If you do not have a mixer add the ingredients into a bowl.

Turn the mixer to medium speed & add in the yeast mixture, scraping out anything felt on the bottom of the bowl to get all the yeast. 

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until the dough is smooth and silky. If kneading by hand, you will need approximately 15 minutes of kneading time.  

Place the dough onto a clean countertop, sprinkle the dough with a bit of flour to avoid sticking & divide the dough equally into 6. 

Roll the dough into balls using the palm of your hand & the counter surface to help shape the dough. Add more flour if the dough keeps sticking to the counter or your hands. 

Spray the bagel tray with nonstick spray, sprinkle the remaining everything bagel seasoning evenly into each cavity. 

Place the dough directly over the center of each cavity & poke through the center mold. Spray each bagel with nonstick cooking spray & wrap loosely with plastic wrap. Allow them to rise for 1 hour in a warm part of your kitchen. They will inflate by 3/4. 

Preheat oven to 350 °F

Place bagel pan onto a sheet tray for easier removal from the oven & bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown & firm to the touch. 

Remove from oven & allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing & placing them onto a cooling rack to cool fully.
