Ingredients

  • 4 firm Roma Tomatoes, sliced in half

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 2 teaspoons Balsamic Vinegar 

  • A pinch of Sea Salt and Black Pepper

  • 8-12 leaves Basil, chopped

  • 2 cloves of Garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoon of Lemon Juice

Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. 

Begin by preheating the grill to medium-high heat.

Toss the Roma tomatoes in a bowl with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, pepper, and basil. (2 cloves of garlic for added flavor-optional)

In a bowl, mix the Roma tomatoes with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, pepper, and basil.

Arrange the tomatoes in a ramekin baking dish.

 Place the prepared tomatoes in a ramekin or baking dish.

Cook the tomatoes for 5 minutes, use a pair of tongs to flip the tomatoes over, and cook for another 5 minutes until charred. 

Cook the tomatoes for 5 minutes, then use tongs to flip them over, and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes until they develop a charred appearance.

Remove the tomatoes from the grill adding them onto a serving plate and enjoy this quick and easy side dish. 

 Take the tomatoes off the grill and transfer them to a serving plate. Now, you can enjoy this simple and delicious side dish.
