Yes, you can use lemon pepper instead of lemon juice. However, you may want to decrease the amount of black pepper to 1/2 tablespoon so the lemon pepper pasta isn't too spicy.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Spaghetti Pasta
     

  • 1/4 cup Butter
     

  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced 
     

  • 2 Shallots, minced 
     

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
     

  • 1/3 cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth 
     

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest
     

  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt 
     

  • 1 tablespoon Coarse Black Pepper
     

  • 1 cup of Spinach
     

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped 
     

  • 4 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese for garnish

Instructions

Cook the spaghetti pasta in a pot of salted boiling water until it's al dente. Drain the spaghetti pasta in a colander and set it aside. 
 

Cook and drain the pasta

Place the butter into a large skillet and set it over medium-high heat. 
 

Prepare skillet with the butter

Add the garlic and shallots and cook them for 2 minutes until they soften. 
 

Sautéing garlic and shallots

Add the lemon juice, chicken broth, lemon zest, kosher salt, and black pepper and cook for 3 minutes until it reduces.

Add the spinach and cook it for 2 minutes until it wilts.

Add the spaghetti pasta and parsley and toss to coat it in the sauce. Cook for 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.

Divide the lemon pepper pasta between 4 bowls and garnish each bowl with Parmesan cheese.
