During the Christmas season, we are often faced with the dilemma of how to keep eating all those leftovers without getting bored. So here is an excellent recipe for a quick delicious sandwich with your reconstructed leftovers. We are keeping it local, too, by using our famous Hops Bread recipe and filling it with our favorite holiday season eats like baked ham, cheese, pineapple, and fresh vegetables. Now it goes without saying this sandwich is not limited to your Christmas leftovers, so feel free to indulge anytime you feel the craving.

Instructions

Using a small bowl, mix the ham, spinach, tomato, pineapple, and dressing, adding salt and pepper to taste.
Using a griddle or skillet, melt some of the butter on medium heat.
Cut the Hops Buns in half and place them face down onto the skillet into the butter and allow to toast until golden brown.
Once the bread is toasted, begin to assemble the sandwich by placing one dollop of the ham mixture onto the bottom half of the toasted bread.
Top with pepper sauce to taste and add a slice of cheese to the top half of the toasted bun
Serve on a plate with some of your favorite chips and a cold glass of sorrel.
