Cilantro is a very popular herb used a lot in Mexican cooking. The fresh citrus flavor of this herb also makes it an excellent choice for seafood as it enhances these salty, fishy flavors. Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive oil

  • 1 ½ lb Jumbo Shrimp

  • 1/4 yellow Onion - diced

  • 2 cloves Garlic - minced

  • 1/4 cup Cilantro - chopped

  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

Instructions

Peel and devein the shrimp and rub old bay seasoning then let marinate in a bowl until ready to cook.

Using a large skillet or pan, add the oil and bring to medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the onions and cilantro, sauté for 3 minutes.

Add the seasoned shrimp and sauté for another 3 minutes.

Mix in the garlic and juice from the lime and cook for 1 more minute, then serve warm with your choice of sides or as an appetizer.
