There's nothing like Air Fried Banana. Not only is air fryer banana inexpensive to make, but it is also healthy, vegan, and gluten-free. Air fryer banana is so easy to make; it only takes about 15 minutes. All you have to do is cut the bananas into thin slices, dunk them in lemon juice, and air fry them until they are crispy.

Tip: It's best to use bananas that are firm and barely ripe. If you use bananas that are overripe, they will be too soft to handle.

How Long Does Dehydrated Bananas Last?

In general, banana chips can last for 6 months. However, because the bananas are dehydrated in an air fryer, they will not dry out as much as if they were dehydrated in an air fryer.I would not recommend keeping them for more than a few days.

Are Dehydrated Bananas Healthy?

Yes, dehydrated bananas are healthy. Bananas contain 2 types of fibers that can help enhance blood sugar levels, stimulate weight loss, and boost digestion. Best of all, they are a sugar-free, oil-free snack.

Instructions

Place the bananas onto a cutting board and slice them into 1/4-inch slices using a sharp knife or a mandolin.
To a medium bowl, add the lemon juice. Add the bananas and soak them in the lemon juice for 5 minutes. Dipping the bananas in lemon juice keeps them from turning brown.
Preheat the air fryer to 360 °F.
To ensure the bananas do not stick, coat the air fryer basket with non-stick spray
Add the banana to the air fryer basket in an even layer. You may have to cook the bananas in batches. Cook the bananas for 12 minutes. If they are not crispy, cook the bananas for an additional 3 minutes.
Place the bananas onto a wire rack, sprinkle them with sea salt, and let them cool completely. Continue cooking the remaining bananas.
Place the air-fried banana into a bowl and serve.
