Now, some say cold brew might contain more caffeine than a regular cup of coffee, so our recipe is of average strength but can be adapted to suit your preferences. With this recipe, we also added some Salted Caramel Cream and Syrup to make the drink all the more decadent. This mixture results in a comforting cup of your homemade cold brew with a creamy sweet and salty caramel flavor. We hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients

Cold Brew
  • 1 1/4 cups Ground Coffee

  • 3 cups Water

Salted Caramel Cream
  • 60 ml Whole Milk

  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream

  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar

  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Salted Caramel Syrup
  • 2/3 cup Brown sugar

  • 100 ml Hot Water

  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

Cold Brew

Place the coffee grinds into a Jug or Pitcher and stir in the water, then place in the fridge overnight or for a more robust concentration, leave in the fridge for 16-24 hours.

After "brewing", strain and discard the coffee grinds using a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter.

Salted Caramel Cream

Mix all the ingredients in a blender or stand mixer until a thick frothy foam develops.

Store in a sanitized jar or bottle

Salted Caramel Syrup

Add the sugar to a saucepan, place on medium-high heat, and cook for about 3 minutes until the sugar melts and dissolves.

Once you see the melted sugar mixture start to foam, carefully add the hot water and stir to mix.

Continue to cook the mixture until it begins to have a syrup-like consistency, then remove from the heat and mix in the salt and vanilla extract.

Store in a sanitized jar or bottle.

Assemble Drink

Using a large tall glass, add some ice, then pour in the cold brew.

Stir in some Salted Caramel Syrup to your preferred sweetness.
