It's packed with yummy taco-seasoned ground beef, crispy romaine lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, greens onions, cheddar cheese, and spicy green chilies. So you have all the taste of tacos - without all those dreaded carbs. Serve with your favorite keto-friendly condiments. Our favorites are guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. Yum!

Ingredients

Taco seasoning:
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Cumin

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Oregano

  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Salad:
  • 1 pound Ground Beef

  • 6 cups Romaine Lettuce, shredded

  • 3/4 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved

  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded

  • 1/2 cup Green Onions, chopped

  • 1/4 cup Green Chilies diced

Instructions

Taco Seasoning:

To a small bowl, add ingredients for the taco seasoning. Mix well.

Salad:

In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, add ground beef. Cook, stirring until brown or for about 5 minutes. Drain extra grease.

Add taco seasoning to ground beef, and mix well. 

Plate Salad as follows: Place lettuce leaves on the bottom, topping with seasoned ground beef, cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese, green onions, and green chilies.
