Pizza that comes together in less than 30 minutes to make? That's unheard of! Traditional pizza dough can take hours to make because you've got to let the dough rise. This keto pizza eliminates the wait time. It is made with a broccoli pizza crust. Topped with keto Alfredo sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, and red onions, this keto pizza is healthy and delicious.

How Many Carbs Are In A Keto Pizza?

The entire keto pizza contains about 34.4 carbs. Although it seems like many carbs, there are four slices in this keto pizza, and each portion contains 8.6 grams of carbs and 6.4 net carbs.

What Is A Keto Pizza Crust Made Of?

Keto pizza crust can be made from several different ingredients. For example, keto pizza can be made from fathead dough, mozzarella cheese, almond flour, cream cheese, and eggs. You can also make keto pizza crust from cauliflower. This keto crust is made with riced broccoli, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and seasoning.

Is Keto Pizza Healthy?

Yes, keto pizza is healthy. Broccoli is filled with nutritional compounds, including vitamins and minerals. In addition to this, broccoli has bioactive compounds that could protect against cancer, support blood sugar management, healthy digestion, and decrease constipation. Additionally, this keto pizza also contains small amounts of fat. Specifically, it has 8 grams of fat and 3.9 grams of saturated fat.

How Many Slices Of Keto Pizza Can I Eat?

While you can eat this entire pizza, I would advise against it. Since the entire pizza has 34.4 grams of fat, and you've probably already eaten carbs in your last meals, I would not eat more than 1-2 slices of this keto pizza. But, of course, you can always serve the pizza with a side salad or another keto dish.

Instructions

Broccoli Pizza Crust

Preheat the oven to 400 °F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the broccoli onto a cutting board and cut it into 1-inch florets using a knife.

To a food processor, add broccoli florets and pulse it into small pieces, scraping down the bowl with a plastic spatula. The broccoli should be the same size as rice grains.

To a large bowl, add broccoli and cover with plastic wrap. Heat the riced broccoli in the microwave for 1-2 minutes to steam it.

Let the broccoli cool for 2 minutes, then place it onto a clean washcloth. Squeeze as much liquid from the broccoli as possible until you are left with a dry mass of broccoli.

Place the broccoli into a large bowl with the eggs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Pour the broccoli mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it onto a circle that is 1/2-inch in thickness.

Bake the broccoli pizza crust for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.

Toppings

Remove the broccoli pizza crust from the oven and spread the Alfredo sauce onto the pizza crust with a spoon.

Add the mushrooms, 3/4 of the mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese and bake the keto pizza for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts.

Add the red onions and parsley and let the pizza sit for 5 minutes before cutting it into four slices.
