Close up shot of Garlic Parmesan Asparagus in a blue baking dish

Garlic Parmesan Asparagus is a traditional way to enhance the natural flavors of Asparagus. However, Asparagus has a unique flavor profile with a bold, earthy, and slightly bitter taste depending on freshness. It’s said to taste close to artichokes, broccoli, or green beans, which also go great with Garlic and Parmesan. When prepared fresh and cooked just right, it should be tender, crunchy, and crisp in texture, but if overcooked could end up a bit soggy. Asparagus is also a nutrient-dense vegetable with vitamins A, C, and K, rich in fiber and low in calories. This quick and easy recipe pares the citrus and nutty flavors of garlic and Parmesan along with some earthy black pepper to bring out the distinct rich flavor of Asparagus. We know Asparagus lovers will enjoy this recipe and hope it’s a delicious food adventure for those who have not tried it yet.
