What is the difference between restaurant style salsa and chunky salsa?

The main difference between restaurant-style salsa and chunky salsa is the texture. Restaurant-style salsa tends to have a smoother texture as you're using a blender or food processor to make the salsa.

How do you use chunky salsa?

You can use chunky salsa for chips and veggies, including baby carrots, celery sticks, and green pepper slices. You can also top beans and other proteins like grilled chicken or steak. You can also add some chunky salsa to uncooked eggs in a bowl, then mix it up and fry your mixture in some oil to make scrambled eggs.

Is eating salsa good for you?

Yes, eating salsa is good for you. Salsa is packed with lycopene from the tomatoes. Lycopene is good for heart health, and it may reduce your risk of certain cancers. Tomatoes are also good sources of vitamin C, folate, and Vitamin K1 which are important for healthy immune systems, cell function, and bone health. So have a spoon of salsa or two!

Can I lose weight eating salsa?

Yes, you can lose weight eating salsa. The jalapeños in salsa contain a substance called capsaicin which can boost your body's ability to burn fat. Salsa is also low in calories. For instance, one serving of our Chunky Salsa contains just 10 calories. It is also low in total and saturated fats, making it an excellent alternative to higher-calorie, and higher-fat condiments and toppings.
