  • Cajun Seasoning & Smoked Paprika – Smoky heat and warmth
  • Cayenne Pepper – Optional for more spice
  • Salt & Parsley – Season and garnish

Can I use boneless pork chops?

Yes, just reduce the simmering time slightly to avoid overcooking.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Absolutely. Prepare up to 2 days ahead and reheat gently on the stove.

What if I don’t want it spicy?

Use a mild Cajun blend and skip the cayenne pepper.

How to Make Keto Pork Chops

Start by seasoning pork chops with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chops for 3–5 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, heat more olive oil and sauté mushrooms for 5 minutes. Add onion, garlic, and thyme; cook until fragrant.

Deglaze with white wine, scraping up brown bits. Stir in chicken broth and return chops to the pan. Cover and simmer on low for 15–20 minutes until tender.

Remove chops and reduce sauce by half. Whisk in heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and cayenne. Simmer for 3 minutes.

Return pork chops to the pan to reheat, then garnish with parsley and serve hot with your favorite keto sides.

Ingredients

Cajun Pork Chops
  • 2 Medium-sized Pork Chops

  • 1/2 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Cajun Mushroom Cream Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 1 cup Button Mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 small Onion, minced

  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme, chopped

  • 1/4 cup Dry White Wine

  • 1 cup Chicken Broth

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

  • 1/2 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Italian Parsley, chopped

Instructions

Cajun Pork Chops

Arrange the pork chops on a cutting board or in a shallow baking dish. Season both sides of the pork chops with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

In a large skillet, add olive oil. Set the skillet over a medium-high flame.

Place pork chops into the hot skillet, making sure not to place them too close to each other and cook for 3-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove the seared pork chops from the skillet and place them on a plate.

Cajun Mushroom Cream Sauce

To the same skillet, add olive oil.

Add the button mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes until they soften.

Stir in onions, garlic, and thyme, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add white wine and deglaze the skillet. Make sure you run your cooking spoon against the bottom of the skillet to release the brown bits of food.

Stir in chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Return the seared pork chops to the pot and cover the skillet. Decrease the flame to medium-low heat and cook 15-20 minutes until the pork chops are tender.

Remove pork chops from the sauce, place them on a plate, and loosely cover them with foil.

Increase the flame to medium-high heat and let the sauce come to a boil. Cook the Cajun mushroom sauce for 5-8 minutes until it reduces by half.

Whisk in the heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Cook the Cajun mushroom sauce for 3 minutes.

Return the pork chops to the Cajun mushroom sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.

Garnish the pork chops with parsley before serving with cauliflower rice, vegetables, or your desired side dish.
