Why is my crack chicken watery?

Crack chicken may be watery because you used frozen chicken instead of thawed chicken or the chicken was injected with water. You can always remove some water if the crack chicken looks too watery.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth

  • 3 pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Ranch Seasoning Dry powder

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, room temperature

  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley

  • 6 Stalks of Green Onion, sliced

Instructions

In an Instant Pot, add low sodium chicken broth, chicken breasts, Italian seasoning, dry ranch seasoning powder, and cream cheese.

Turn the Instant Pot On and secure the lid. Put the pressure valve to Seal and select manual; cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.

Once ready, turn off the Instant Pot and let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes.

Place the chicken in a bowl and shred using a fork or meat shredder.

Whisk cream cheese mixture; then add Parmesan cheese and dried parsley, mixing well. Add shredded chicken and green onions, and mix well.
