Detoxing involves refraining from foods for a certain amount of time to remove toxic or unhealthy materials from the body.

Chicken Detox Soup is the perfect soup to eat to detoxify your body. It's filled with healthy ingredients that will get rid of unhealthy substances in the body.

For example, it contains garlic, which is a great source of allicin. Allicin encourages the generation of white blood cells and plays a role in fighting toxins in the body.

The soup also contains carrot, the antioxidant carotenoids that help detoxify the body, and broccoli, a substance called glucoraphanin that rids the body of harmful chemicals like acrolein and benzene.

Best of all, not only is this chicken detox soup good for you, but it also tastes delicious. So, whether you are feeling unwell, want to boost your immunity, or lose a few pounds, pull out your largest soup pot and make this chicken detox soup.

This immune-boosting chicken soup contains many wonderful, nutrient-rich ingredients. Let's take a closer look at why these particular ingredients are included and what the benefits are.

Olive Oil

Olive oil is one of the healthiest types of oil you can use in this kind of recipe. Not only does it have an ideal fat ratio, but the levels of saturated and unsaturated fats make it healthier.

White Onion

White onions are an essential part of almost any soup base. They help to give that rich aromatic flavor which is characteristic of most types of soup.

What’s more, it acts as a sort of sponge for many of the other flavors and spices used in the recipe. During the initial phase, it will absorb the flavors and release them later as you continue preparing the soup.

Celery

Celery is yet another nutrient-rich vegetable that helps define your soup's taste. It adds a strong herbaceous flavor without compromising on the healthy aspects of the soup. It also helps to give the soup just a dash of color thanks to its bright green appearance.

Garlic and Ginger Paste

Garlic paste is absolutely 100% essential in this and many other soups. Alliums like garlic and onions are good for detoxing and also contribute flavor. The ginger paste will also add a nice, strong zing to the soup without being overpowering.

Carrots

Carrots are a tremendous source of nutrients, like vitamin C, vitamin B6, and Niacin. They also taste great in soups and add a wonderful pop of color.

Low-Sodium Chicken Broth

When you use low-sodium chicken broth as your soup base, you get all the wonderful flavor of a standard broth without the excess salt. It's a much healthier option for this chicken detox soup recipe.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is a wonderful addition to almost any type of chicken dish. It helps to ensure that the chicken cooks soft, succulent, and ready to disintegrate within your soup.

After all, you want a little bit of everything distributed throughout the soup and not massive pieces here and there.

Turmeric Powder, Salt, and White Pepper

Spices and flavorings are essential if you want your soup to taste brilliant rather than bland.

Chicken Breasts

Of course, you can't make chicken soup without chicken. Using the deboned skinless chicken breasts ensures that your chicken is tender, soft, and easy to work with.

Broccoli

Broccoli is often quite underrated, both as a vegetable as a whole and in terms of soups. It provides many excellent nutrients, including micronutrients like iron and calcium, and it really tastes great in a soup recipe like this detox chicken soup.

Can you lose weight eating chicken soup?

Yes, chicken detox soup can help you lose weight. Chicken breast is a lean source of protein, making it the perfect type of meat for weight loss. Broccoli is rich in fiber, keeping you nice and full and decreasing the calories you consume. Carrots can also increase feelings of fullness, leading to subsequent weight loss.

How does detox soup work?

Detox soup is loaded with nutrient-dense vegetables that nourish the body. However, these vegetables can also rid the body of toxins, boost immunity, decrease inflammation, and even reduce pain.

What veggies should I use for fat detox soup?

If you want to eliminate stubborn belly fat, add leafy greens like spinach, Swiss chard, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, mushrooms, beans, carrots, chilies, and carrots to your detox soup.

What is a detox soup?

A detox soup removes harmful or destructive impurities from the body.

How to make Detox Chicken Soup?

As with most soups, this detox chicken soup recipe is delightfully easy to make.

It starts by cooking the onions and celery over medium-high heat for a couple of minutes. Then, aromatics like garlic and ginger paste (followed by carrots and turmeric) are added before most of the additional ingredients are incorporated.

The broccoli is the only thing that comes later. It is added after everything has boiled and cooked for some time, at the same time as you remove the chicken breasts to shred them.

Once the broccoli florets are tender, add back the chicken, heat everything for a few minutes, and you're ready to serve. Garnish each bowl of soup with just a dash of olive oil and some parsley, and you'll have a chicken detox soup that's to die for.
