Jalapeño Poppers are a smaller bite-sized version of Chiles Rellenos. In both dishes, the peppers are cored and filled with a seasoned cheese paste mixture, coated in breadcrumbs, and fried. With the Jalapeño Poppers, their size makes them easy to pop in your mouth and enjoy.
This recipe takes the same great flavors we know and love but uses an air fryer to help reduce the fat from deep-frying. The cheese paste filling is a unique blend of creamy, nutty, salty, and well-seasoned goodness that compliments the spice of the Jalapeño pepper.
We hope you enjoy our Jalapeño Popper recipe with your air fryer the next time you're feeling for a spicy, cheesy snack with some Pico de Gallo on the side.
