We at Classic Bakes Bakery are very grateful for our eight and final successful Friday’s distribution of bread in our initiative to offer assistance to those among us who are experiencing hardship as a result of the Covid19 outbreak. We were delighted to provide bread to all.
Since Day 1 of our COVID19 Initiative, we have distributed 854 quarts of hops bread, 100 buns and 110 tea plates to various families around the neighbourhood and frontline workers including hospital staff. Today’s distribution is the last day in our initiative. We would like to thank all those that participated including our online and offline donors.
We thought our seventh distribution (last week) would be our last but we decided to go for one more week.
For today's distribution, we produced 50 quart of hops.
The total cost incurred on this day was TT$778. Please note, the costs include ingredients, labour and some other fixed costs such as gas, electricity, packaging and sanitation.
An array of people and organisations helped in today's distribution. These include:
- MP - Naparima
- Senator Sobers - San Fernando
Our gratitude is expressed to all those who assisted us on our last day, including our in-house staff Rita, Michelle and Leean, lead by N. Jaikaran.
Thank you.
