Overview of a bowl of mojo marinade

Mojo Marinade is a flavorful Cuban citrus marinade. It is tangy, garlicky, herby, and so delicious. It's made with fresh herbs, garlic, shallots, lime zest and juice, orange zest and juice, and lemon zest and juice for many citrusy flavors. Use this delicious Mojo marinade to marinade all your protein. From chicken to fish to pork and beef, mojo marinade infuses the meat with so much flavor that it won't last long once you place it on the dinner table. You can also use Mojo marinade as a condiment for cooked meats like our KFC Styled Popcorn Chicken.

Is mojo flavor spicy?

Mojo marinade is primarily citrusy with a mild spicy flavor.

Does mojo need to be refrigerated?

Mojo marinade must be refrigerated. Otherwise, it will spoil. Instead, store the mojo marinade in an airtight container to ensure the marinade lasts as long as possible.

Is it better to marinade in bag or bowl?

It depends on your preference. Marinating food in resealable bags eliminates cleanup. You can toss the bag in the trash once you remove the food from the pack. Nevertheless, you can marinate food in bowls if desired.

What is mojo good for?

Mojo can be used for marinating seafood, poultry, or meat. However, it can also be served as a condiment.
