These Keto Tuna Patties aren't your average tuna patties. They're crispy, light, and incredibly delicious. Best of all, they're cooked in the air fryer, making them less greasy. And they're ready in just 15 minutes, making them the perfect easy weeknight dinner. To complete the meal, serve these keto tuna patties with keto cauliflower rice or keto pasta salad

 

Why do my tuna patties fall apart?

There are many reasons why tuna patties fall apart. If the tuna patties are not pressed together tightly, they will fall apart. The patties can also stick to the pan and fall apart if the skillet isn't hot. Flipping the patties over too much can also cause them to fall apart. 

 

Do you put egg in tuna patties?

Yes, you put eggs in tuna patties. The eggs act as a binder and keep the tuna patties together. 

 

What can I substitute for eggs in tuna patties?

Milk or mashed potatoes are an excellent substitute for eggs in tuna patties; however, they're not keto. You can use almond milk, flax "eggs," or almond flour instead of eggs in tuna patties for a keto alternative to eggs. 

 

What do you eat with tuna patties?

You can serve tuna patties with a side salad, cauliflower rice, or coleslaw.

Ingredients

Lemon Greek Yogurt Sauce:
  • 1 cup plain Greek Yogurt 

     

  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon 

     

  • 1 Shallot, minced

     

  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, minced

     

  • 1 clove Garlic, minced

     

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Keto Tuna Patties:
  • 2 (5-ounce) cans of Canned Tuna, drained

     

  • 2 Shallots, minced 

     

  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced 



     

  • 1 large Egg

     

  • 6 tablespoons blanched Almond Flour

     

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

     

  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan Cheese

     

  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley

     

  • 1 teaspoon Salt 

     

  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper 

  • Olive Oil Spray

Instructions

Lemon Greek Yogurt Sauce:

Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl until well combined.

Cover the sauce with plastic wrap and refrigerate it until ready to use.

Keto Tuna Patties:

Place the canned tuna, shallots, and garlic in a bowl and toss to combine.

Add the egg, almond flour, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and black pepper and combine. 



 

Adding other ingredients to the tuna

Grab a handful of the tuna mixture with your hands and shape it into a patty. Place the patty onto a plate and continue shaping the tuna mixture into patties until you have 6 patties.

Preheat your air fryer to 360 °F. 

 

Prepare Air fryer

Line your air fryer with a parchment liner and add the tuna patties in an even layer. 

 

Putting patties into the Air fryer

Spray the tuna patties with olive oil and cook them for 5 minutes. 

 

Cooking the Keto Tuna Patties

Flip the tuna patties over, spray them with olive oil, and cook them for another 5 minutes.

 

Cooking the other side of the Keto Tuna Patties

Place the tuna patties on a serving platter, then pour the Greek yogurt lemon sauce into a small serving dish and enjoy!
