French Press Iced Coffee ingredients

Why go out and spend extra when you can make your gourmet iced coffee in the comfort of your home using a French press? This recipe for French Press Iced Coffee is easy to make and tastes fantastic, especially on a hot summer day. All that's needed is your favorite brand of ground coffee, hot water, ice, and glass, and you'll be sipping on your iced coffee drink in minutes. Feel free to add dairy or dairy-free milk, flavors, or sweeteners to your iced coffee and customize it to your taste. A good cup of coffee can always be a sweet treat on the side; iced coffee pairs best with our Air Fryer Beignets or gluten-free Almond Cookies.   

Is it OK to drink French press coffee?

Yes, French press coffee is a fantastic way to enjoy and prepare coffee beverages. 

Is French press healthier than filter coffee?

It's said that filtered coffee could be better for you than French press coffee due to one of the chemicals in coffee called cafestol. This chemical is the oily part of coffee beans, which can raise your cholesterol levels.  

Can I drink French press coffee everyday?

Although coffee contains a lot of good traits, such as antioxidants, it also contains high amounts of caffeine, which, if consumed in excess, can damage your overall health; it's best to drink coffee in moderation. 

How much coffee do you put in a French press for iced coffee?

This recipe contains 1 cup of ground coffee in two servings of iced coffee.

  • 2 cups Water 

  • 1 cup Ground Coffee 

  • 1 cup Ice 


Heat the water in a kettle or pot until the water is hot but not boiling. 

Warm the water in a kettle or pot until it's hot, but not at the boiling point.

Place the ground coffee into the bottom of a French press, and pour the water over the coffee using a spoon to stir everything together. 

Put the ground coffee at the base of a French press, then use a spoon to blend everything together as you pour the water over the coffee.

Let the coffee stand and steep for 5 minutes before plunging the coffee with the French press plunge. 

Allow the coffee to steep for 5 minutes before using the French press plunger to press it down.

Divide the ice between two glasses before pouring the coffee over the ice. Stir using a spoon and serve right away. 

Split the ice evenly into two glasses and then pour the coffee over the ice. Use a spoon to mix it, and serve immediately.
