Lettuce wraps are the best meals for lunch or dinner. They are healthy and easy to make. Instead of using ground chicken, these Keto Chicken Lettuce Wraps are made with chicken thighs, garlic, ginger, shallots, cashews, and a sweet and sticky sauce. The cashews add a texture, while the green onions add a sweet flavor and tender bite. So get ready for a healthy, delicious, and highly satisfying meal because these chicken lettuce wraps will be your new favorite dish! Some other suggested variety of this wrap is Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

Which Lettuce Is Best For Wraps?

Any green leafy lettuce can be used for lettuce wraps. However, the most popular lettuce for wraps is Boston bib lettuce, also known as butter lettuce or romaine hearts. I think butter lettuce is the best for lettuce wrap because of its silky texture.

Chicken Lettuce Wrap
In a wok or pan, add the sesame oil. Set over medium-high heat.
Add shallots, garlic, and ginger, and cook for 2 minutes until the shallots soften.
Add the chicken thighs and cook it for 8 minutes, periodically stirring, until the chicken is browned.
Add the sauce and stir to coat the chicken in the sauce. Cook the chicken for an additional 5-8 minutes until it has a temperature of 165 °F and most of the sauce evaporates.
Add the cashews and remove the chicken from the stove
Arrange butter lettuce leaves on a serving platter and add three tablespoons of the chicken to each lettuce cup.
Garnish the chicken lettuce wrap with the green onions carrots before serving. Do not add too many carrots to the chicken lettuce wraps. They are keto- friendly, but they contain higher sugar levels than other leafy greens.
