The Air Fryer is the newest and next best piece of kitchen equipment since the microwave. Air Fryers can cook anything from crispy pizza to boiled eggs without boiling. These gadgets save you time and a lot of clean-up in the kitchen. Corned beef has always been one of those proteins full of salty, savory goodness. Corned beef can be made into so many dishes be savored from a breakfast hash, layered in hot sandwiches, or carved up at the dinner table. The long process of making corned beef starts by using beef brisket soaked in brine for up to 10 days.

The brine comprises water, salt, sugar, mustard seeds, allspice, juniper berries, black peppercorns, and crushed bay leaves. Fortunately, you can now purchase high-quality briskets that have already been perfectly brined to save you all that time. The brisket is located above the foreshank and below the chuck portion of the cow. Typically, it is a tough cut of meat that requires a long cooking process. However, your air fryer, aluminum foil, and brined brisket are all you need. Considering the brine is rinsed off, corned beef is a keto-friendly high protein option for you to enjoy, containing zero carbohydrates and 30 grams of protein per serving. Make a few and freeze them for up to 3 months in airtight freezer bags for a mouth-watering meal in minutes.

Instructions

Pre-heat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, let heat for 5 minutes.
Place the corned beef into a large dish and remove the corned beef from the package. Drain off the excess liquid rinsing it into the sink.
Tear off 2 large pieces of aluminum foil layering them onto of each other to double them up.
Place the corned beef in the center of the foil and wrap it up like a package.
Place the wrapped corned beef into the air fryer and set it for 2 hrs.
After 2 hours, crack open the foil from the top to create an opening to brown the fat on the top, increase the temperature of the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and brown for 10 minutes.
Remove the corned beef from the air fryer, wrap the foil back up, and rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes.
Slice the corned beef against the grain to keep the beef tender. Cutting it with the grain will result in chewy meat.
Add the corned beef to your favorite meal and enjoy all the labor of love you put into it.
