When most people think of Sea Moss, they think of shakes, smoothies, or Caribbean punch. However, this recipe is going to show you how to make Sea Moss Gummies. Why Sea Moss? Well, for our vegan and vegetarian followers, this is an alternative to regular gummies, usually made from gelatin, an animal product. This recipe is here to help provide a vegetarian gummy option with the same great flavor and texture as the original. We hope you like our Sea Moss Gummies and share them with friends to see if they can tell the difference.

We also have a recipe for sea moss gel, or if you're looking for a ready-made version, we recommend purchasing the sea moss gel from here.

Instructions

Using a saucepan add the pineapple juice, maraschino cherries, cherry juice and sea moss gel and whisk together until fully combined.
Sweeten with nectar and whisk to incorporate.
Add the Agar-agar powder and whisk until everything is evenly combined.
Now place the pan on a medium-low heat while continuously whisking and bring the mixture to a very gentle simmer.
Once the mixture begins to thicken after 1-2 minutes of simmering and whisking, remove from the heat.
QUICKLY fill your mold with the gummy mixture using a dropper or teaspoon adding the mixture to the molded shape.
Once the molds are full, refrigerate for at least one hour or until firm to the touch.
When they are ready, pop them up and out of the mold and store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-4 weeks or in the freezer for 2-3 months.
